How does RoomGPT work?

You photograph a room you already have, choose a style or hand it a picture of a room you like, and RoomGPT returns the same room redesigned. There is no floor plan to draw and no model to build: it reads the depth and scale of the room from the perspective in your photo, which is why a shot taken from a corner gives a better result than one taken from the doorway. Is RoomGPT free?

The app is free to install and comes with 2 free designs, so you see a real result on your own room before you are asked for anything. Past the free tier it is a subscription, bought through the App Store or Google Play rather than through this website, which is why the price you see depends on your country. Download it

Do I need an account, a floor plan or measurements?

None of the three. You can use RoomGPT without ever signing in, and a photograph is the only input. Signing in with an email is optional and exists so your designs and your subscription follow you to another device.

What happens to the photos I upload?

They are processed to produce your designs and kept until you delete them or delete your account, which you can do from inside the app as an anonymous user as well as a signed-in one. They are not used to train AI models, and they are not shared with third parties for advertising. The privacy policy sets out every processor that touches them and how long each one keeps anything. Does it keep my room the way it actually is?

That is the whole constraint. Walls, windows, doors, ceiling height and the proportions of the room are treated as fixed, and the camera angle you shot from stays put. Is it accurate enough to buy furniture from?

Use it to decide, then measure before you order. A photorealistic picture can hide a layout that would not quite work in the real room, and that is true of every tool in this category including this one. What RoomGPT is genuinely good for is scale, proportion and colour in your own light, which is exactly what a shop photo cannot show you.

Can I buy the furniture it puts in the room?

You can go looking for it. Tap a piece in your result and RoomGPT searches Google for it, so you get shopping results for something close to what you are looking at. Two honest caveats: it finds similar pieces rather than that exact one, because the piece in your room was generated rather than picked from a catalogue. And nothing is placed in your room because a retailer paid for it to be there, which is the reason the design is worth trusting in the first place.

What rooms does it work on?

Bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens are what people try first, then bathrooms, dining rooms and home offices. Every other room works the same way, inside or out, including gardens, terraces, balconies and the front of the house. Room examples Exteriors

Is this the same as the other apps called RoomGPT?

No. Several unrelated products use that name. This one is the iOS and Android app published by Hbrothers L.L.C., trading as Hbro Studio, and roomgpt-ai.com is its only website. How do I cancel a subscription?

Through the store, not through the app: on iPhone it is iOS Settings, then your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. Apple and Google handle billing, renewals and refunds for anything bought in their stores, so refund requests go to them and we cannot issue one ourselves.
